Events in Wroclaw during Easter
The celebrations begin a week before Easter. Right next to the hotel, at Plac Solny and the Market Square, you can admire colorful Palm Sunday processions heading towards St. Elizabeth’s Basilica.
Just 200 meters from our doors, the Easter Market comes to life. It is the perfect place for a slow walk among stalls offering regional crafts, ceramic Easter eggs and traditional delicacies. We recommend visiting in the morning hours to fully appreciate the details of handmade products and the spring decorations before the city becomes more lively.
On Sunday, Wroclaw slows down. After a festive breakfast at The Rumi, we encourage you to take a walk to Ostrow Tumski. It is only a 15-minute walk from the hotel and the silence there, interrupted only by the sound of cathedral bells, perfectly reflects the sense of calm we value at The Cyrus. You can also take part in additional tours organized by the city.
Events:
• Easter Market at the Market Square (2-minute walk) - the heart of Wroclaw tradition and a perfect place to find unique handmade Easter decorations and local products
• Palm Sunday processions - traditional parades centered around St. Elizabeth’s Basilica and Plac Solny just steps from our hotel
• Easter walk to Ostrow Tumski (12-15 minutes on foot) - the oldest part of the city offering a peaceful and almost mystical atmosphere on Easter Sunday
